                  Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences (CIDS, Virajpet), Located in Coorg district of province, is adjoin 20 acres of land. The College was established in 1999, by Kanjithanda Kushalappa foundation. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The Institute is a member of the SEAADE (South East Asian Association of Dental Education). The CIDS has an MOU with the faculty of Dentistry to attain the target of serving as a centre of excellence within the field of dental sciences. The College conducts courses at collegian and postgraduate level, within the field of dental sciences.
